Harnish Law, PLLC (“Harnish Law,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through harnish.law, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the online booking form on it.

Using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship

Visiting this website, booking a consultation, or contacting us by email, phone or form does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship begins only when you and Harnish Law agree to it in writing. Please do not send confidential or sensitive details about your case through the website, including the comments box on the booking form. You can share those details with your attorney directly during your consultation.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you book a consultation or contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number
  • Details of your appointment, such as the attorney, date and time you choose
  • Anything you write in the comments box or in a message to us
  • Payment information for the consultation fee, which is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours automatically receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. We use this to keep the site running, secure and working well.

How we use your information

  • To schedule, confirm, remind you about, reschedule or cancel your consultation
  • To process the consultation fee
  • To respond to your questions and prepare for your consultation
  • To check for conflicts of interest before taking on a matter, as our professional rules require
  • To operate, protect and improve this website
  • To comply with the law and our professional obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share information with

We share information with trusted service providers that help us run the firm and this website, such as providers of website hosting, scheduling, email and calendar, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as permitted by our professional obligations.

The tools we use may change over time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, including the booking form, may not work properly without them.

How long we keep information

We keep booking and contact information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including our record-keeping and professional obligations, and then delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, which is one more reason not to send confidential case details through the website.
